13 until we all reach the unity of faith and knowledge of God’s Son. God’s goal is for us to become mature adults—to be fully grown, measured by the standard of the fullness of Christ.             Ephesians 4:13

In today’s verse from Paul’s letter, Paul mentions some important points to think about concerning believing in and serving God. He mentions the idea of being unified , “reaching the unity of faith…” ; another thing is growing in knowledge, learning about God and His desires for us. Thirdly, Paul speaks of “becoming mature adults” – this refers to maturing in our spiritual growth. He feels this will add to the overall health of the body, the church. It is very important that a church be healthy, no matter the size of that body.

Let us Pray together – Creator, Redeemer, Sustaining God , we desire to be the very best we can all be for You, and You alone. Help us Lord, nurture and feed Your church, we ask, that we all can become truly one body for Christ. Guide us to a road of growth and learning, Father, so that we can have a deeper knowledge of You in our lives, and then be able to share this with this hurting world of ours. We pray all this is Your Son’s great name………  Amen

Yours in Christ  ,  Rollie

Ephesians 4: 13

13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

It is trough Jesus that we exist. Jesus is and should be the focal point of our life. It is through Jesus that we will have eternal life. Jesus is the beginning and the end. It is our belief in Jesus that will see us through all of life’s challenges.

Dearest Jesus, you are the reason I exist. It has taken me awhile to understand that and to know that without you we are nothing. Thank you for all that you did and are doing for me. I love you and hope with all my heart that I live up to all that you are. Amen.
