Our Daily Devotion for Wednesday, January 27th, 2021

Create a clean heart for me, God; put a new, faithful spirit deep inside me!
11 Please don’t throw me out of your presence; please don’t take your holy spirit away from me.
12 Return the joy of your salvation to me  and sustain me with a willing spirit.
13 Then I will teach wrongdoers your ways,  and sinners will come back to you.           Psalm 51:10-13
 
 
Today’s reading is a song of David, which expresses a clean heart, and a renewed spirit and joy for God. In this , David is asking God to help him teach others about God’s goodness, so that he can turn sinners away from that life (v. 13), and turn to the LORD !!
 
 
Let us pray please – Father of Light and Love, we pray as David did, that You would renew us, revive us, and guide us to be speakers, teachers, preachers for You and Your Word to a world very hungry to hear it. Help us to be strong and steadfast in our faith every day !!   We pray all this in Jesus’ Name……Amen.
