“ a faith and knowledge resting on the hope of eternal life, which God, who never lies, promised before the beginning of time”
Titus 1:2

In his letter to Titus, Paul speaks of the honesty and truth that God has brought to our lives, that the hope of eternal life that God “promised before the beginning of time” would be ours in the saving blood of His Son. He also instructs Titus to make sure that good, caring, loving people are brought into the ministry work where Titus lives. A lesson for all of us to learn.

Let us now take time to be in prayer :
God of The Heavens, God of Love – thank you for showering your people each and every day with that perfect, divine love. God of Nature, of the earth, the waters and the skies, and all the creatures that inhabit them - we give You alone Glory and Praise for the beauty you have brought into our world.  Help us to be better stewards of this earth.
Lord, we pray for this land of ours, that is stricken with injustice, with upset and upheaval. Great Physician, heal these wounds of hurt, upset and pain, we beg of you. Help us to understand how to truly “love one another” as our Savior has commanded us to do.
Please guide us, Eternal One, to the better way – to the way of compassion, of caring, of understanding each other, of sharing the good gifts You bring to us each and every day, and truly loving each other.
We pray all these things through Jesus – our Redeemer and Savior. Amen.

God’s Blessings to you, Rollie

Titus 1: 1-3

2 in the hope of eternal life, which God, who does not lie, promised before the beginning of time,

I believe in this promise. It gives me hope that if I do what God asks of me I will share eternal life with him. Sometimes believing in something we cannot see or feel can be difficult, but that is when faith clicks in and I believe. I am a believer, and yet there are days when I doubt. I pray that these days are less and less, as my knowledge of God and my faith in him grows.

Dearest God, you promised me eternal life. I have never seen you and yet I choose to believe in you. Always give me the courage and faith to profess this belief in you. Amen.
