Our Daily Devotion for Thursday, February 4th, 2021

Matthew 8:28-34
Mark 5:1-20
Luke 8:26-39
 
The three readings for today deal with demonic possession, and Jesus driving them out. While we may not suffer from the demons that are described in The Bible, we have our own “demons” – things that cause harm to body and soul, burdens that “possess” our minds and hearts …………things like mental illness, obsessions, bad habits, etc. The point of these readings is to show the power that The Most High had over even demons.
 
Let us pray please – Lord God , we do pray that we can be healed from the afflictions that trouble us. Help us be rid of these things so that we can be better and stronger for You in this world. Thank you for Your love and grace in our lives. In Jesus Name we pray all……..Amen.
