Days to Pentecost 01- Weird Time
by Hannah Lee
“You have made known to me the paths of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence.”
After Easter, my father said this on the phone.
"I am so grateful that Jesus is resurrected and we live forever, but I am more grateful that the Lord is resurrected and that we live in this world with the joy and gratitude of resurrection. Isn’t that God’s power?"
We’re stuck at home with the news of death every day.
In addition, it is an uneasy period of various inconveniences, damages, and harms, but the great peace and joy in me is due to the Lord who is always with me.
By spending this Lent in line with the beginning of Coronavirus, God made me realize how great faith, hope, and peace it gives to get close to the word of God.
So I am having a weird time these days.
"David said about him: "`I saw the Lord always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.
Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will live in hope” (Acts 2:25-26)
Lord, thank you for allowing unwavering faith, hope and peace at this time.
The power of the resurrection of the Lord makes me live in peace now. Let me always live close to your word.
In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
